Psy Released Hilarious Daddy Music Video

For a while, he was in a tough place. Korean pop star Psy is still the owner of the most watched video on the Internet, but Gangnam Style was quickly becoming his one hit wonder. Would Psy be just another case of a musician who got lucky once? The Internet has just found out the answer, and it’s a giant no as this brand new music video Daddy has has become an instant hit with its catchy tune and ridiculous visuals.

Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong has made viral headlines for saying it like it is. It seemed after January 1 of this year, PSY and his Gangnam Style would be left in 2012.

But after PSY again went viral with Gentleman, Billie couldn’t help but point out on Twitter that PSY „is the herpes of music. Once you think it’s gone, it comes back.“

Elaine of Fuse asked PSY about the tweet last month, but now his reaction–where he admits he’s not sure exactly what herpes is–has gone viral for a second time, amassing an additional 200,000 views over the past few days.

Though not as great of a blockbuster as his original Gangnam Style smash hit, PSY’s second single Gentleman still stands on top of the YouTube charts with over 365 million hits. Not too shabby for a one time no name Korean pop star.

As most of the song is in Korean, Bart BaKer had trouble understanding the lyrics. Instead, he decided to make his own parody of the viral music video with a ridiculous interpretation fit for the web.

Just over the weekend, his new Gentleman Parody Music Video has already garnered over one million views.

DJ’s are often introduced into pop music lyrics when the author runs out of words that will rhyme. The singer will usually call out to the DJ to play their song, or drop the beat, or do whatever phrase is currently in.

For their latest piece, The Gregory brothers teamed up with YouTube rapper DeStorm to mock this recurring trend in pop music in DJ Play My Song No Leave Me Alone

A slew of famous YouTubers make a special cameo appearance in the music video, such as Kassem GEd Bassmaster, and EpicLLOYD. But none of them can compare to Korean pop superstar PSY who appears at the intro and exit of the song.
