World’s Largest Elevator

In Yichang City, China, the world’s largest elevator did open it’s tremendous doors and is about to send 6.7 million pounds of ship in 113 meters height a year. Amazing consctruction at the Three Gorges Dam.

„The main components of the structure are four 169-meter high reinforced concrete towers. The chamber, a self-support orthotropic plate structure that is 120 meters long and 18 meters wide, works as a gigantic basin.“

Futuristic Bus Straddles Roads To allows Cars Underneath

Congestion and overcrowding in urban areas is one of the biggest issues for modern cities. And that problem is expected to only accelerate as large cities in developing countries continue to grow and expand. 

New China TV reports that one Chinese firm believes they have a solution to traffic and overcrowded roads. A new type of bus the size of a bridge that is as wide as the road. Cars can easily drive underneath the special design bus.

Man With No Arms And Blind Man Plant Forest In China

Here’s a great story about two men with disabilities that didn’t let their shortcomings stop them from achieving their dreams. One man was born with no arms. The other recently went blind. Together, the two best friends have spent years planting 10,000 trees and have turned an arid piece of land into a lush forest.
