Of all the music genres to cover using the physical sounds made from of his old computer floppy drives, the futuristic sound of Daft Punk seems most appropriate. And that’s exactly who MrSolidSnake745 covered in his latest video.

This video by Canadian music aficionado Dylan Nut is from the summer of 2010, but it has only exploded online this week, garnering over 350,000 hits.

The camera man says his uncle swallowed a nail as a child, and ever since, he’s (unofficially) had the world’s deepest, lowest voice. To prove his point, he sings a little Louis Armstrong at a family gathering.

“Hey, Dan. You should put that on, um, YouTube,” said his cousin Barb.

And now the video is viral.

Now, the video from February has experienced a viral explosion, amassing over 100,000 visits just today. It is also featured on VideoSift, Gizmodo, TastefullyO, and HyperVocal.
