Umpire Ejects Daytona Music Man Derek Dye

Music at the ball park is just as important as the peanuts, hot dogs, and souvenirs. But home plate hyper sensitive umpire Mario Seneca at the Daytona Cubs game in Fort Myers didn’t appreciate the ‘music man’ playing the classic tune Three Blind Mice on the organ.

He was so offended by the implied ‘musical insult’ that he ejected music man Derek Dye, and demanded no music and no PA announcements for the remainder of the game.

What a Negative Nancy.

And yes, apparently the ump does in fact has the authority to eject the PA guy.

The video has instantly gone viral, being featured on WashingtonPost, TheBlaze, Reddit, and HuffPost.

Umpire Tackles Streaker At Orioles Game

Now that baseball season is finally here, it’s time for the wave of ‘streakers running on field’ videos to trend again. The first from 2012 is a shirtless man running the bases during an Orioles game.

To the cheers of the crowd, he made it all around to home plate. But what really got the crowd whooping was when he was finally tackled… by the home plate umpire himself, ump Jeff Kellogg.

Braves Beat The Pirates Over The Worst Call Ever

The Atlanta Braves beat the Pittsburgh Pirates all because of a horrible home plate umpires call. The Atlanta runner on third ran home when the third baseman threw to the catcher. The Pirates catcher touched the runner twice before he was even close to the plate, but the home plate umpire called it safe, giving the game win to the Braves.
