Improv Pranksters Turn NYC Subway Car Into Sleeper Car

The New York City subway can get you all around town for only a couple of bucks, but it’s not the most relaxing trip. The lighthearted pranksters at ImprovEverywhere wanted to make the subway journey a little more peaceful, so they transformed one of the cars into a sleeper car.

Riders were offered a small cot to rest during their ride, and the ‘conductor’ even gave away complimentary sleep masks.

Apathetic Cat Doesn’t Move Off Model Train Tracks

This video from the end of 2010 just went viral now. A very apathetic cat sitting on a model railroad track doesn’t seem to mind at all that it’s blocking the way for the toy train. Several bumps in front and back doesn’t seem to bother the kitty at all.

Two Musician Strangers Perform Together On NYC Subway

As they say, there’s never a dull moment on the New York City subway. In just a second, anything can happen, be it fantastic, or horrible. Luckily, this random scene that recently unfolded was pure bliss. Jessica Latshaw had her ukulele on her while on the train when she happened upon another traveler with his bongo drums. The two then performed an on the fly song without ever meeting before that sounded beautiful and really shows the good side of the Big Apple. The video is featured on Neatorama.

Commuters Break Out Singing How To Love On Packed Subway Train

Taking public transportation can be a lonely, sad experience. As an unspoken rule, people rarely talk to each other, almost to the point of ignoring everyone around them. To bring a little happiness, joy, and community to the trains, The Love Project planned a surprise flash mob of commuters on a packed subway train in LA. Out of nowhere, someone with a guitar started playing How To Love by Lil Wayne while supposed strangers started singing along. The smiles on people’s faces means they were successful.
