The most famous improv crew arguably in the world, ImprovEverywhere, has again struck in the heart of New York City with a hilarious prank. For their latest mission, they pretended the city made a new program of Seeing Eye People for New Yorkers to walk and text.

Countless volunteers wearing orange vests and leashes took to the streets with a texter right behind them holding the leash and tapping away.

BuzzFeed got in the gag actually approaching real people who were texting and walking and asking them if they need assistance. Most did not react pleased.

To raise awareness for the issue, RYD BELGIUM made this PSA of what a driver’s test would include once the government requires people to be able to text and drive at the same time in order to receive their driver’s license.

A bear on the loose in a small suburb town is nothing new for many cities with a large local bear population nearby. The news will usually follow the bear from helicopter until finally the animal control show up. There was even a famous Simpsons episode in 1996 that started with a similar case.

But we’re in 2012, and almost everyone is armed with a cellphone. So next time you’re just strolling along and texting, look in front of you.
