HBO‘s ultra popular Game Of Thrones continues to trend online, especially as the third season starts picking up steam. Naturally, the Game of Thrones theme song is the most popular aspect of the show to cover.
Now, Cello band Break of ReaIity has gone viral over the weekend with their spot-on take of the introduction music for the fantasy series.
Luna Lee published this Korean-style cover in February, but it has only exploded online over the past few days, garnering over 600,000 hits.
She covers Jimi Hendrix’s timeless classic Voodoo Child on the classical Korean string instrument called the Gayageum, creating a new Eastern sounding twist on the American classic.
Popular online violinist Lindsey Stomp teamed up with fan favorite vocalist group Pentatonix to create a new music video of epic proportions.
They chose to cover the newly popular hit by Imagine Dragons, titled Radioactive, and have already scooped up over 49,000 likes and over 290,000 views.
The Piano Guys and Lindsey Stomp are both on top of the online string musicians world, each with over one million YouTube subscribers.
That being the case, they have decided to collaborate for the latest piece. Together, they beautifully cover the classic Mission: Impossible theme music, and have already collected over 150,000 views in two days.
High school band String Theory of North Penn High School performed a very special medley, titled Circle Of Life, for their graduating class during the end of the year wrap up Reflections program.
For twelve enjoyable minutes, they played a special twelve pop song medley, one from each year that they were in school.
After opening with the Lion King’s Circle Of Life, they started with 1999 and The Backstreet Boys’ I Want It That Way, and continued through 2003 with Outcast’s Hey Yea, and wrapped it all up with the 2000 Vitamin C hit, Graduation Song Friends Forever.
You know you’re doing something right when the audience immediately started singing along.
