‘Jewish Style’ Spoofs Psy’s Gangnam Style

The Israeli comedians from Agent K Media who went viralviral last year with their Jewish-themed spoof of LMFAO’s hit single Sexy And I Know It are back with another parody just in time for the High Holidays.

Taking a cue from the countless parodies online of the international sensation Gangnam Style, the Jewish parody artists added their own Middle-Eastern Jewish flair to the South Korean single. Naturally, they titled their spoof ‘Jewish Style.’

Now, the music video has gone viral, garnering over 325,000 views in less than a week.

North Korean Kim Jong Un GANGNAM STYLE Spoof

No two countries from such similar backgrounds are more different than North and South Korea. After the Korean War, the South became a democratic capitalist state while the North became a socialist dictatorship. A satellite photo of Korea at night truly portrays the stark differences between the two countries.

Korea has started to cruise down the mainstream ever since South Koreak KPop star PSY hit the Western Internet with his hit single GANGNAM STYLE. There have been countless dance music videos of the song, but few true parodies.

Leave it to popular humor channel Barely Political to make an instantly viral spoof of the song, poking fun at the idea of the song actually originating in the much more grim and dark North than the bright and vibrant South.

There’s no question our brains are much more affected by large scale marketing than we could ever realize. To show how easily we can be tricked into thinking a product is better than the previous, even when the product is nearly identical, Jimmy Kimmel Live hit the streets with a new iPhone 5 to ask people what they thought of the latest Apple smartphone.

Only thing is, it wasn’t an iPhone 5, that hasn’t been released yet. It was the same ol’ iPhone 4S. So how do people respond? They love the ‘new’ phone, and claim it is faster, better, thinner, and lighter than the ‘previous.’

If only Apple knew this, they could literally just rebox the same 4S’s and simply sell them as the new 5′s for $200 more!
