South Park’s last episode focused on the Cash For Gold companies ripping off people for their precious medals. In one scene the boys learn how the entire jewelry home shopping network and Cash For Gold companies were part of a world wide conspiracy to scam senior citizens.
The music from said scene has caught fire, and now popular a cappella cover artist, Matt Mulholland, has taken on the song in this cover video.
A huge group of South Fan fans, directed by Robert Paterson, created a full South Park tribute episode. The animation and production are pretty professional for a grassroots cartoon; it looks like an older South Park episode. The dramatic story follows the South Park creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, in their day to day lives as they deal with the fame of their show and relationship problems. The script is a little slow at first, but it picks up in the second half.
