Using the magic of science,  shows us how to see single celled organisms in water with just a laser pointer. First, he suspends a syringe with a drop of pond water hanging out. Then by pointing the laser at the droplet, the laser is spread, and actually projects a magnified image of what’s inside. You can actually see all the buggers swimming around.

We’ve all had that feeling before. That déjà vu feeling that what’s happening around us has happened before. Strangely enough, déjà vu occurs mostly when we are younger, and tapers off as we age. One might think it should be the other way around. Science has a difficult time explaining the phenomenon, mostly because you can’t recreate the feeling on demand in lab to study it. Our good friend, , does his best to explain the strange occurrence to us simple minded folk.

Remember Avatar? Well, it seems everyday we get closer to science fiction. Robotic scientists in Japan have unveiled a new avatar robot that can be controlled by a human in another location. Not only does the robot do what the human does, but it sends back feedback to the user in the form of video, sound, and even some touch sensors, like temperature. The new technology will be very helpful for doctors, who could soon use avatars to visit patients, instead of flying around the world.
