Remember Avatar? Well, it seems everyday we get closer to science fiction. Robotic scientists in Japan have unveiled a new avatar robot that can be controlled by a human in another location. Not only does the robot do what the human does, but it sends back feedback to the user in the form of video, sound, and even some touch sensors, like temperature. The new technology will be very helpful for doctors, who could soon use avatars to visit patients, instead of flying around the world.
