Golf Ball Thrown Onto Frozen Lake Creates Amazing Sound

Cari Scholtens posted this video over five months ago, but it has only exploded online over the weekend.

Like the viral video of a frozen lake that gave off out-of-this-world sounds, so too does this new video feature ice emitting science fiction like noise.

While under the lens of the camera, Cari threw a golf ball onto the frozen lake. The ball bounced, gave off an incredible sound, and continued to bounce down the lake in ever shrinking iterations.

Riker Sits Down Weird Compilation

Commander Riker is of course the first officer of the USS Enterprise on the Star Trek TNG series. For some reason, Riker performed a long standing oddity when sitting down on the show.

He would nearly always swing on leg over the chair to sit down, yet he would do it in a perfectly normal manner, like this is the way everyone does it, right?

WeirdHat made this compilation of Riker sitting while swinging a leg over the chair, and now the video has gone viral, amassing over half a million views in just a few days. The video has appeared on Kotaku, SlashFilm, and UpRoxx.
