Targa Newfoundland is a long road rally race held over seven days in Canada. In this video from a past Targa event, a Subaru WRX STi locked up while taking a turn, and slammed head on into a home.

Incredibly, the passenger immediately disembarked from his ride, and when questioned by the cameraman if he was ok, simply chirped, “Ya, we’re good.”

Thankfully, the “safety equipment did its job.”

Though the video video published over a year ago by RightDrive.ca, it has just experienced a second surge of viral viewership over the weekend.

The Daytona 500 took place two months ago, but this video from the first lap has only gone viral now, amassing 50,000 hits in one day.

Mr Sock Eye Salmon had a front row spot standing directly in front of the safety gate separating the stadium and the actual race track. From that close, the 200 mph travelling race cars seem to sound and look like space ships

Viewer Ben Cowman can’t help but be reminded of the South Park episode mocking competitive racing, and says, “LOOK! THEY’RE MAKING ANOTHER LEFT TURN!”

Pepsi and NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon teamed up to pull a fast one on a local car salesman.

Under hidden camera, Chevy car salesman Steve offers to go for a test drive in a brand new Camaro with a well disguised Jeff Gordon who did his best to act like an old geezer. Only once they were buckled in did Jeff hit the gas, and scare the pants off of Steve.

After burning a sharp turn and speeding down the road, Steve yells, “You are liable for damages to the vehicle, so please stop the car!”

Only after Steve had fully soiled his pants, and was threatening to call the cops did Jeff let him in on the gig.

“It’s not what you think. We were just having fun. Look, I’m Jeff Gordon!” he says to a shocked Steve as he tears off his facial disguises.

Even if the video was just one long fake and staged Pepsi/Chevy commercial, it’s worth the view. Why wasn’t this one of the Superbowl commercials?

Now, the brand new video stands with over 1.8 million views.

The AudiChannel has quietly published this new video as unlisted, yet the word it out. Already, it has garnered over 175,000 views.

To promote the new 2013 RS 4 Avant, Audi retro fitted two of them, one black and one white, with paintball guns, and held the Ultimate Paintball Duel.

The two drivers compete for who can hit the other with the most paint. Not only do they employ the paintball guns, but also ‘paint slick’ and ‘paint bombs.’

The only bummer has to be that the trigger buttons are on the side panel and not on the steering wheel. Oh well, a 99% ain’t bad.
