The Internet is buzzing after video of a Colorado police officer assaulting a man for no reason, and then arresting him has gone viralviral. Fort Collins PD officer Kyle Bendzsa arrested a citizen after the man was shoved by another officer with no further provocation. As is typical with most wrongful arrest, the officers paradoxically scream, ‘Stop resisting!’ to a man they have no cause for arresting.
To add icing on the cake, the assaulting officer started demanding witnesses’ papers in a fashion similar to Europe circa 1940. The video went viral after being featured on Reddit, and is covered by Coloradoan, BlameInOnTheVoices, JCerva, and PhillyBarStoolSports.
