Director D. C. Douglas gives his perspective of the Occupy movements spreading around the world. The claim is that for years there were cycles of economic crises and bubbles, until finally the Great Depression. After the Depression, the government put in regulations, and there were no crises, no bubbles, and general economic prosperity for fifty years.

Then in the late 1980′s certain people in Congress took back the regulations, and here we are now. 1% of the country controls the majority of the wealth. The people are simply responding by doing the only thing they can – protesting.
