Out of mere obligation, here is New York City based Improv Everywhere‘s annual No Pants Subway Ride. For 2013, nothing changes.

Hundreds of NYC subway commuters take off their pants on their morning commute while hidden cameras record onlookers’ shocked reactions.

It is an enjoyable watch, but is nothing new for anyone who’s been on the Internet for more than a week. Still, the two day old video has already garnered over one million views

She was on the 1 train on the west-side of Manhattan when an old man drank a giant can of beer, and then burst into song, singing Queen‘s timeless classic Bohemian Rhapsody.

He sang a very special NYC-Sandy-themed parody of Leonard Cohen’s timeless song Hallelujah, joined by Paul Shaffer, that has already garnered over 400,000 views after being published online by The Zig Zaggler.

Hallelujah, Sandy Screw ya!” Doesn’t get much better than that.

The tradition of No Pants Subway rides, and their subsequent viral videos, are nearly as old as web 2.0 itself, originally starting in 2002.

Charlie Todd is the founder and brain behind ImprovEverywhere, the NYC based prank-improv group behind No Pants Subway Ride and many other viral mass-social pranks.

He sat down with Thnkr TV to talk all about the Story Behind No Pants Subway Ride, and other aspects of IE
