CBC set up in advance for countless New Yorkers to converge on Times Square at the same time for an ultimate flash mob Harlem Shake dance.

It’s one of the craziest Harlem Shakes we at ViralViralVideos have seen. If you look closely, you can see a few NYPD officers even make a special appearance as they try to shut the event down. Good thing MarkT Films made sure to document the entire event.

Improv Light Show At Grand Central Station

The famous New York City landmark Grand Central Station just turned 100 years old. As a great way to celebrate the centennial, 135 ImprovEverywhere participants staged a surprise light show performance in the west side windows. Commuters and tourists froze as they were bewildered by the flashing lights and colors. Of course, the entire event had the green light from the MTA.

Paperman Disney Animated Short Film

Unsurprisingly, Disney Animation has instantly gone viralviral after the debut of their new animated short film, Paperman. The Oscar nominated black and white short features groundbreaking techniques that seamlessly melds antiquated hand drawn pictures with CGI, creating a one of a kind animation experiance.

The video tells the story of a young man in New York City whose destiny is shaken after he runs into a beautiful woman on the subway platform. Already, the new video has garnered over 1.3 million views, and is further featured on LATimes, Forbes, Telegraph, and Wired.

Panhandlers Overtake Subway Car

Part of the New York City subway experience includes shrieking loud wheels, humid waiting platforms, and, of course, the panhandlers and beggars.

The standard procedure is for a panhandler to walk from car to car reciting the same old speech that apparently everyone has notes for.

But on the 4 train last August, one car experienced more than a few beggars. The car was literally overtaken by solicitors until it became a full fledged panhandler party.

Make up focused Makeup By Victor was travelling on the subway away from Times Square like millions of other people when they encountered a not-so-common person.

It was comedy and beatbox artist Verbal Ase and he was performing his famous Spongebob beat box song wearing a big speaker.

After his song, he performed subway-themed stand up comedy that anyone who’s taken public transportation before will appreciate. Even some of the passengers laugh, a difficult feat in the Big Apple.
