A bear on the loose in a small suburb town is nothing new for many cities with a large local bear population nearby. The news will usually follow the bear from helicopter until finally the animal control show up. There was even a famous Simpsons episode in 1996 that started with a similar case. 

But we’re in 2012, and almost everyone is armed with a cellphone. So next time you’re just strolling along and texting, look in front of you. There just might be a bear going for a nice walk down your block, like in this case. The video is  getting a viral kick start after being featured on VideoGum.

Eccentric Apartment Fire Victim News Interview: No Time For Bronchitis

The best part of any quality news story is the witness’s interview at the end of the report. It seems the news picks out the most eccentric people for their interviews, and this case is no exception.

Sweet Brown woke up in her apartment to get a cold pop when she smelled fire–someone must have been BBQing, she thought. Once she realized it wasn’t burgers being cooked she said, “O Lord, Jesus, it’s a fire!”

CNN Correspondent Says F***ing N*gger

The city of Tulsa, Oklahoma has been on edge ever since a slew of killings that occurred over the weekend. But CNN’s Susan Candiotti is the one who’s garnering attention after she quoted one of the suspect’s racist Facebook posts. 

Without censoring in anyway, Candiotti only offered a short warning before quoting, “Today is two years since my dad has been gone, shot by–and please excuse the language, it’s very sensitive–shot by a f***ing n*gger.”
