For their latest ingenious public prank, the East Coast’s most popular improv group Improv Everywhere commissioned 2,000 volunteers to prank world famous Times Square in Manhattan. At just the right moment, everyone began to walk and move in reverse

Naturally, tourists and even some everyday New Yorkers are completely freaked out. Even some NYPD officers can be seen holding back their smiles.

Hearing someone play the saxophone while on your daily NYC subway commute is nothing out of the ordinary. On the contrary, it’s rare when you have a little peace and quiet in your train car.

But GREATTIM E stumbled upon a musical event that was in true rare form, even for New York. While a musician was playing the sax at one end of the subway car, a dude with his buddy on camera phone took out his sax and started to play.

Nearly instantly, the two get in sync and start rocking out. They battle musically, clashing their notes together like swords. Of course the travelling witnesses loved the interaction. As they say, “Only in New York.”

Web nerdy viewers can’t help but ask, “Where’s Sexy Saxophone Guy?”

YouTuber TennaciousD94 understands the Internet well, and correctly assumes, “Viral in 3 2 1.”

A second perspective:

It truly takes guts to not only ask a question in front of your countless peers at Vanderbilt University, but also to ask your musical idol if you can play with him.

And that’s exactly what student Michael Pollack did during “An Evening of Questions and Answers and a Little Bit of Music” with Billy Joel at Vanderbilt two months ago.

In a packed auditorium, Michael asked, “My favorite song of your is New York State Of Mind… I was wondering if I could play with you…. I would accompany you that is.”

Incredibly, Billy simply answered, “OK,” to which the crowd erupted in applause.

After a few moments getting set up, Michael was finally playing his favorite song with the one and only Billy Joel singing at the microphone in front of a crowded auditorium.

A moment he will truly never forget.

These days, marketers are finding ways to sneaktheir products into viral videos left and right. And for the most part, if the video is done well enough, viewers are more than willing to spread the video for some free marketing views.

This Elevator Murder Experiment clip is the latest advert hidden as a video to go viral. Just this week, the video–which is really a promotion for the new movie Dead Man Down–has collected over 1.5 million views.

As the clip starts, it asks, “What would you do if you walked into a murder in progress?”

Hidden cameras were placed around an elevator in NYC. As people walked into the elevator, they would discover a murder in progress. They of course had no idea they were really two actors.

The reactions of witnesses is quite disturbing…

Would you have the guts to save a man from murder?

The BNP Paribas Tennis Showdown was just held in Manhattan, New York City. Just for fun, professional tennis player Rafael Nadal asked celebrity in the stands Ben Stiller to join him for a few volleys while playing Juan Martin Del Potro.

Juan also picked a fan from the fans as his teammate. A random little girl. Viewers expected the audience to side with the little girl, but no one expected her to perform so well.

The adorable match was caught on camera by Romi Cvitkovic, and now the video is going viral.
