Every kid dreams of building their very own toy city out of Legos or Hot Wheels, but it usually ends up being a disappointment. But that’s ok, because dad can just take the kids to see Metropolis II, a titanic toy Hot Wheels city in Los Angeles, California.

The model city features over 1,000 cars zooming around eighteen roads and six highways. The waves of cars quickly become mesmerizing as they race around turns and down slopes.

This vintage Sesame Street clip from 1984 went viral last October, and is resurfacing now after being featured on TheFW. The 80′s was really the Genesis of home computing, so Sesame Street had a special on the new technology. A group of New York school children were asked what a computer is. Their answers are enlightening and, interestingly, not much different than what a child today would say.

For countless nerds, Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace was the biggest let down of their lives. It almost doesn’t seem deserving of the Star Wars title. 

But George Lucas is more of a business man than an entertainer, so he doesn’t seem to care. He’s relaunching the entire Star Wars series in ‘eye popping’ 3D, and he’s starting with Episode I. This is what the trailer for the 3D re-release sounds like to all true Star Wars fans.
