Like so many before him, I James Walters couldn’t just quit the YouTube business after initially going viral.

Originally, he went viral with a Lord Of The Rings-themed cover of I Dreamed A Dream, and since then James has churned out numerous other pop music covers in his Smeagol voice.

And he isn’t close to ending his career. Now, he has returned to cover New York City‘s unofficial anthem Empire State Of Mind as Smeagol the monster.

Three weeks ago, Fuel10988 posted amateur video of a kids band named Unlocking The Truth performing in Manhattan‘s famous Times Square.

Few viewers expected such a hardcore heavy metal performance from the kids. And that’s what makes this intense brutal breakdown so great.

Now, in less than a week, the video has burst onto the viral scene, amassing over 800,000 views.

Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield has served the Internet and nerd community well while on the International Space Station, creating many entertaining and educational viral videos directly from Space.

Before his return, he thought it fitting to end with some music. Obviously, few songs are more appropriate to cover in Space than David Bowie’s Space Oddity.

This is also happens to be a world record as the first music video recorded on the ISS and in Space in general.

The best, most advanced visual effects and computer graphics can’t compete with a real zero gravity environment.

Few scenes can trump Hadfield singing, “Planet Earth is blue and there’s nothing left to do,” with a very blue Mother Earth literally behind him.

The resulting music video is truly stunning, and has instantly caught viral fever, already appearing on CBSNews, CNet, and TheVerge.

This vintage clip of Michael Jackson and Oprah has been trending over the weekend decades after the event. Michael sings a very special a cappella performance of Who Is It for Oprah back when they both were on top of the world.

Pumpcast news is a long standing bit on The Tonight Show where a very special gas station in Burbank plays a live, interactive news show hosted by Jack Rafferty at each gas pump.

Travelers filling up are then prompted to answer questions or perform silly stunts.

In this recent episode, Jack interrupted a man singing at the pump. After admitting he liked karaoke, Jack asked him to sing a little Bon Jovi.

Will was happy to oblige, even if his public singing embarrassed his wife.

They couple was so entertaining, Jay Leno invited them onto the show later on, and now they are going viral! Already, the clip is covered on Gawker and HuffPost.
