During the filming of Hugo, cameraman Larry McConkey attached a GoPro camera to his rig and captured this amazing behind the scenes footage during a single take Steadicam scene. It’s a phrase we’ve heard over and over again in the media. “I love the smell of napalm — and subsequently everything else —  in the morning,” is a line that originated from the 1979 war movie, Apocalypse Now. Since then, the phrase has been referenced in movies, TV shows, and everything else in between. Writers just love the smell of butchering the famous line in morning.

So how many shows and movies paid homage to the line?  did the work for us, compiling all the famous references together. Even he had to exclaim, “What surprised me about making this video is how frequently this line pops up in cruddy children’s movies. That and cop shows.”
