This video from last November only went viral now, being viewed over 150,000 times just this weekend and featured on DailyPicksAndFlicks, TheSun, and Military. The Black Diamond Jet Team, a civilian owned fighter jet stunt team, made this trailer using GoPro cameras to show off their prowess and very strong stomachs.
This video from 2009 just had a recent surge in viewership after being featured on Reddit. At the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Airshow at Jones Beach, an FA-18 Super Hornet showed off it’s power flying above the crowd at the beach with incredible speed. Many nerds are quick to point out that the fighter jet didn’t create a sonic boom, but rather a Prandtl–Glauert singularity. Either way, it’s amazing.

America may have some serious economic and social problems going on, but we’re still have the best and greatest military in the world. The US Navy just released this footage of the brand new F-35B performing the very complex task of landing a fighter jet vertically.
Norway just developed and finally tested their new Naval Strike Missile. The new cruise missile boasts fire and forget technology, much like those informercials for cheap, ‘set it and forget it,’ counter cooking devices, but a lot more serious and expensive.
