Fans At SXSW Lie About The Bands They Like

Why can’t people just be honest? For some reason, whenever there is a camera around people will BS about the silliest things.

Jimmy Kimmel has been in Austin, Texas for the past week, and took the opportunity to send his Lie Witness News crew to the SXSW music festival.

The interviewer asked fans about fake bands, and without skipping a beat, the ‘music lovers’ didn’t hesitate to give their opinion on the non-existent groups.

The Coachella music festival was held this past weekend, and Get Whirled director Chris Crutchfield is bringing online viewers a special visual experience from the event like no other.

Chris strapped a GoPro camera to his over seven feet tall head, and enjoyed the tunes for the day in the California desert. The resulting footage is more than enjoyable, and has already accumulated over 100,000 hits since debuting over the weekend.

Everyone knows that hipsters absolutely love talking about obscure and unknown musicians. Naturally, the Coachella musical festival in the California desert was crawling with hipsters.

Being the hilarious meany he is, Jimmy Kimmel sent his camera crew to the party to ask fans about bands… that don’t exist. As evident by this now viral video, it wasn’t too difficult to find hipsters super-psyched about completely made up musicians.
