I saw this annoying video when it was new, and never thought people would fall for it. Here is another fake viral video marketing ploy. A group of campers are attacked by a bear, and one is about to shoot the bear. They give you the choice to shoot or not shoot the bear.
Which ever you choose sends you to a fake video where the hunter says I don’t want to shoot the bear. He leaves the video box and grabs the ad on the right that is for Tipp Ex white out. He whites out the word ‘shoot’ in the title and asks the user to fill in what the hunter should do. This is obvioulsy a marketing ploy for Tipp Ex white out.
Try filling in the line with ‘sex’, ‘eat’, or anything else you can think of. At least it’s a little funny.
