There’s a famous rumor that Harrison Ford has never actually watched the Indiana Jones series that he of course starred in. Dogfoodfilms now claims that this is video of Ford’s reaction to watching the films. But really it’s just a joke, the original is from a video of the star playing the new video game Uncharted 3.
Vermin Supreme is a political satirist and his latest ‘speech’ for the 2012 presidency in New Hampshire was a doozy. Besides for making a law requiring people to brush their teeth, Vermin also promises to not fulfill any of his political promises. His puns and word play jokes are stage worthy. But the real reason why Supreme has a real chance this year is that he’s promising everyone their own pony! Both parties are now kicking themselves for not thinking of the pony entitlement plan first.
A Times Square magician performs a very cool and very fake magic trick in front of a staged audience. After a participant takes a card, the magician ‘finds’ it by throwing the deck on the ground which amazingly turns into a CGI card creature. The creature then hands the correct card to the participant. The video is especially popular with older people and has gone viral the classical way, on email.
If you ever listen to the pop radio stations for even one song, you already know the end of civilization is near. Thankfully, The Onion News Network is here to report on faux news that’s actually the same as our world, just a different dimension.
Every year before Christmas on the Ellen Degeneres show, Ellen has twelve special days where she showers her guest audience with gifts and prizes. It’s called Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways and it’s almost like an extended, yet cheaper, version of how the great Oprah used to do have special giveaways.
Ellen also loves tricks and surprises, so she doesn’t just say, ‘Ok, time to give you guys stuff,’ there’s a build up or fake out every time. On a recent episode, Ellen read a letter from a fan who wanted to propose to his girlfriend who was in the audience. But when he finally says, “I want you to marry me,” she just sobs, “I can’t, I’m sorry.”
Instantly, the familiar giveaway music starts, and the audience quickly get to their feet cheering. At the last moment, you can even see the ‘proposer’ laughing as well as Ellen. The entire scene is of course a fake out, but many Internet users who aren’t regular viewers of Ellen think it’s real. It isn’t, so don’t worry, and merry Christmas.
