Online favorite a cappella group Pentatonix traversed through time in their latest music piece which has instantly caught fire. The five singers use only their God given voices to create a beautiful medley from tunes ranging all the way back to the 11th century. A true spectacle of the Evolution of Music.

Naturally, the 20th century gets the most attention. To add to the effects of time, they even start out in black and white, and only turn the color ‘on’ during the cover of the 1960′s.

Kids these days are so spoiled with high speed computer processors and seemingly endless memory that many might not even recognize some of the original video games as actual games.

Ironically, many of the older gamers who were lucky enough to experience the gaming stone age actually prefer the 8-bit sound and pixelated graphics. With so many technological limitations, game designers were forced to be creative, not just paint a fancy 3D picture.

As a fun homage to classic PC gaming and it’s evolution through time, video game news channel  created this PC video game history walk through time that has many gamers drowning in nerdy nostalgia.

The two day old video already has 700,000 hits, and is featured on LaughingSquid, TheVerge, msnNow, and Neatorama

Back when cell phones were a brand new phenomenom, it was an exciting thing to see people on TV using them. It was even cooler when Zach Morris from the early 90′s kids show Saved By The Bell used a cell phone. Over time you can see how his phone keeps changing.

The BBC show Bang Goes The Theory featured a short on evolution. Dr Yan explains the complex idea of evolution with a simple straight line. He went to large festival and had people try to trace a line. Evolution occurs when organisms reproduce. The child is never exactly the same. By tracing a line hundreds of times, we can see how the line ‘evolved’ from the original. Science!
