Travis Pratt Sings ‘O Mio Babbino Caro,’ Proposes To Girlfriend On America’s Got Talent

When Travis Pratt from Georgia stepped onto the America’s Got Talent stage, no one expected him to sing classical opera music of all things. But this is AGT after all. So when he started to sing the timeless Puccini classic O Mio Babbino Caro, the judges’ jaws hit the floor.

And when he knocked the song out of the park, the judges and audience went absolutely wild.

After being showered with compliments by the judges, Travis admitted that he would never have sang in public if it weren’t for his girlfriend talking him into it.

Howey insisted on meeting her, and once she was on stage, Travis took the once in a life time opportunity to pop the question. Of course, she said, ‘yes.’

Jonathan Allen Sings Time To Say Goodbye On America’s Got Talent

When Jonathan Allen turned 18, his parents kicked him out of the house. Not because he was a delinquent, and not because he was a bad kid. They kicked him out because he is gay. How sad and unoriginal.

But that never stopped Jonathan from pursuing his dreams of being a singer. Alone in the world, he made it all the way to the America’s Got Talent stage to cover Luciano Pavarotti’s now forever recurring talent show piece Time To Say Goodbye.

After the closing the song, the entire audience jumped to their feet, including all the judges.

“Your family may have disowned you, but with your talent, this show has become your family,” said Howie Mandel.

Paul Thomas Mitchell Performs ‘My Life’ On America’s Got Talent

Like too many children in the world, Paul Thomas Mitchell grew up with parents who were hurting too much themselves to give him the love, care, and attention he deserved.

But after years of alcohol abuse, his father finally woke up and sobered up, and is now the dad Paul always dreamed up.

To show his dad how much he means to him, Paul wrote his own song My Life, and performed it with a strong John Mayer bravado on stage of America’s Got Talent.

By the end of his performance, nearly the entire auditorium was misty-eyed, including even host Nick Cannon.

Elderly Man In Hospital Bed Sings ‘You Are My Sunshine’ With His Wife

Back in February, Linda Whitaker published this touching video of her parents, but it has only exploded in popularity recently.

While sick in the hospital, her father asked to sing a song with the love of his life for the past 66 years. As the video begins he says to his wife, “Come closer up here, this is special to me.”

They then grasp each other’s hand, and begin to sing the cheerful timeless classic You Are My Sunshine.

As they end the song and recite the lyrics, “You’ll never know dear how much I love you,” they peer into each other’s eyes, and their love for each other truly becomes palpable.

After they finish, an off camera person says what over 250,000 viewers no doubt thought after watching the tender clip.

“Now I need a tissue.”
