Westerners are often shocked at how overtly polite Japanese society really is. Stories of lost wallets full of money and thousands of misplaced umbrellas showing up at the police station’s lost and found are common.

But this week old video by J Soccer Magazine is really blowing people’s minds. In anticipation for a big upcoming soccer match, Japanese fans line up days in advance a little differently than they do in the US.

Instead of stupidly pitching a tent and living in line for days, the Japanese simply put a square of tape on their place, along with their simple information, to save their spot for days on end.

The idea seems simply ridiculous in most of the West at our current society simply wouldn’t support such an honest system. One future attendee even left a bottle of water on the ground for themselves, which they seemingly found safe and sound the next day by their square.

Now, the video is going viral, standing with over a quarter million views

The British car show Top Gear has been steadily growing in popularity over the years. Now, there is the not so popular American version, and even a new Korean one

For a recent segment on Top Gear Korea, Kim Jin Pyo raced a Corvette ZR1 against an AH1 Cobra helicopter “in true Top Gear style.” But after winning the race, tragedy occurred.

The helicopter suddenly crashed into the ground to the shock and horror of Kim Jin Pyo. He could only stare with his mouth open for a few moments before regaining his composure, slamming the car into park, and running towards the crash scene as alarm sirens rang.

It seems the web may have found their newest fun meme. The Harlem Shake

The concept is simple. One dancer dances in front of the camera until the bass drops and ‘do the Harlem shake’ is announced. Then the camera often cuts to a more obscure form of dancing that shocks and entertains viewers.

In the Firefighter Edition, one fighter dances while two quietly sit. Until the bassdrop. Then the camera cuts to one extra in a Spiderman costume going nuts, and the other flipping out in a chicken suit.

Ye, this is what the web was made for.
