This video from June just became a viral sensation this new year. At the Doyle Lawson Bluegrass Festival at Denton Farm Park in Denton, North Carolina, Josh Williams and his band were playing the song Mordecai. At the 1:30 minute mark, a bird suddenly flies directly at Josh Williams, and lands on his guitar. Josh was naturally shocked at first, but kept his cool finishing the song while he gently pet the cute little bird.
The crazy, fast paced, electronic music known online as Dubstep continues to creep into real life. Dubstep is one of those styles of music you can’t just play on the piano or guitar. It’s nice of these concert goers to help this wheelchair bound dude go crowd surfing, but they should have been a lot more careful. In all the excitement, the chair simply tilted forward as only the wheels were being held, and the man fell into the crowd. It’s reported that he’s OK.
At the Crumland “Rock The Farm” festival in Fredrick County Maryland this past summer, a group of nine year old kids stole the show. They’re a cover band called Unavailable, and, out of nowhere, two of their videos from the festival have both gone viral recently. First, they performed an epic cover of Killing In The Name Of by Rage Against The Machine.
They also performed a great cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s classic Crazy Train.
