‘Captain Kirk’ Bill Shatner teamed up with  to bring us this semi-sarcastic commercial about turkey fryer safety. Only recently has deep frying turkey for Thanksgiving really taken off, and each year more and more people end up hurt from mishandling the cooking process. If the turkey isn’t properly thawed and dried when it is immersed in the hot oil, the oil can bubble up, overflow, and ignite from the open flame. So be safe this Thanksgiving when enjoying your turkey however you cook it, and live long and prosper. The video is featured on CBSNews and YouTubeTrends

Samuel L Jackson has charisma like no other, and when he speaks, people listen with intent. Every syllable has strength and purpose. That’s why he’s a perfect candidate for this PSA that posted in 2010, but just went viral now. Jackson discusses gun violence, and cuts deep into the viewers heart and soul. He can make a grown man feel guilty for stealing a candy bar as a kid. His name point: blaming others will get you nowhere.

To spread the word about the New York City Marathon, ASICS created an amazing running wall in one of New York’s busiest subway stations. Now, travelers can race Ryan Hall for sixty feet, and see how they measure up. Of course, no one can keep up with the Olympic runner, but what’s really shocking is that Ryan runs at that pace for 26 miles!
