Have you ever watched a commercial, and afterwards have no idea what it was about or even attempting to sell? It seems one particular product, no matter the brand, follows the same vague, ambiguous formula for their commercials.

And nobody really seems to get it.

In honor of the nerdy May the Fourth holiday, The Gamer Chick published this hilarious Star Wars Informercials compilation reel. All the late night infomercial cliches viewers love to hate make an appearance with a Star Wars twist, such as the ubiquitous help-these-poor-cute-animals adverts.  

But the ‘Home Carbonite Kit’ is the main focus. Sick of your expensive food going bad in just days? Freeze it in carbonite. Neighbor’s dog keeps leaving its mess on your yard? Dip it in carbonite.

For years, May 4th has been acknowledged as a nerdy Star Wars holiday based on the similarities of ‘May of the Force be with you’ and May the fourth. 

As the Internet only grows bigger, so has the popularity of the holiday

Well, the Empire has had enough of the Jedi supportive day, and have officially banned it. Not only that, but they have launched a fierce anti-May the 4th PSA campaign, titled Say No to May the 4th.

Now, all the The Empire needs to do is further promote ‘Revenge of the 5th.’

As is tradition online, after the latest uber-viral video from Dove saturated the web, the parody artists emerged.

The original video by the famous women’s toiletries company demonstrated how many women view themselves in a darker light than their peers do by having women describe themselves to a sketch artist. The powerful advert now stands with over 35 million views

Soon after, New Feelings Time parodied the video instead from a male’s perspective

Now, AdhocVids is trending for taking the idea one step further. Instead of just making light of the commercial from a male’s point of view, they make the focal point of the video the men’s testicles

Now, the video is appearing on BuzzFeed, Mashable, and TheBlemish
