By now, most viewers online have seen the celebrity packed gun control ‘Demand A Plan‘ commercial that has aired after the travesty at Newtown, Connecticut.

But it’s difficult to take them seriously when so many of them have promoted gun violence in countless movies and TV shows. Thankfully, MIke Hunt recut the PSA to conveniently show the viewer how hypocritical Hollywood truly is.

Adequate lighting is still a problem for over a billion people around the world. In many instances, villagers must use kerosene or even wood just for simple lighting, an expensive and unhealthy option.

Therefore Products wanted to fix this problem, and has created the GravityLight.

The inventive light requires no fuel or alternative power source. Simply pick up the weight that is attached to the small light and let it go.

As gravity pulls the bag of weight down, a small generator is turned to power the light, offering up to 30 minutes of light for literally three seconds of work. That is, picking up the weight.

Incredibly, their relatively new crowd sourcing campaign on IndieGoGo already has nearly $300,000 worth of contributions, well over their $55,000 goal.

Sometimes the outtakes have a better chance to go viral than the actual commercial. At least that’s the case with this outtakes reel Sutherland Weston posted from the commercial they made for Dystarts, a small restaurant in Maine.

Jack and his wife were to star in the commercial, by simply saying, “Baked in a buttery flaky crust.” But after countless mess ups with the word ‘flaky’ even his wife of countless years was getting frustrated with him.

Now, the new adorable video has over 175,000 views, and is featured on DailyOfTheDay, HuffPost, and MostWatched.
