Monkey Instructs Zoo Guest To Open Cage

Just because a monkey can’t talk doesn’t mean they are unintelligent. Orangutans have shown that though they can’t speak, they can use an iPad to communicate.

And who could forget Koko the great ape who could ‘speak’ using sign language?

Now comes this video clip from the Welsh Mountain Zoo in the UK of a chimp instructing guests how to open his cage and free him.

It’s makes the zoo a much darker place when animals openly show the guests they want out. The video is featured on Telegraph, SayOMG, KHOU, and SIS.

In the true life adventure, Chimpanzee, Disney documentarians recorded the touching story of the baby chimp, Oscar, who is torn from his family during a confrontation with rival band chimps. The feature film is hitting theatres Earth Day 2012.

Chimp Learns To Build Fire, Cook Food

Kanzi the chimp lives at the Great Ape Trust in Des Moines, Iowa, where he is studied by researcher Dr. Sue Savage-Rumbaugh. Without truly teaching Kanzi, the monkey has slowly learned to light a fire, add firewood to make it bigger, and even cook hamburgers. The video is covered by LaughingSquid.
