It’s been quiet on the web. Too quiet.

For too long, viewers have been enjoying a grace period since the last pop star wannabe posted a terrible, auto-tuned to death music video on YouTube for millions to cringe at, a la Rebecca Black

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but quiet time is over. The latest barely X-Factor level pop princess to hit our Youtube screens is Egine.

Apparently, her producers have deep pockets as they were able to convince hip hop auto tune king T-Pain to guest star in Egine’s new single Moon Of Dreams.

After debuting in April, the music video stands with over 3.4 million views, though many of those views were paid for.

In his latest video, French actor and prankster Gonzague attempts the Bodyguard Challenge.

Unlike the ubiquitous challenges that pepper YouTube, such as the cinnamon challenge, this challenge requires some real life situations that are hard to come by.

Such as an elaborate VIP party hosted for big time celebrities.

For the self imposed challenge, Gonzague attended the Cannes Film Festival in Paris, France just as celebrities were making their way to the VIP party.

Naturally, the celebs were surrounded by many bodyguards, so he simply joined the circle of men, and acted tough and professional, telling people to watch out for his famous client.

And just like that, he was swept away with the rest of the VIP’s into the party.

“I just got in with Gwyneth Paltrow,” he says into his secret mic with a look of surprise on his face.

“I’m Gwyneth Paltrow’s new bodyguard! Challenge succeeded!”
