A lucky tour on a game drive in Kenya had the opportunity to witness an epic battle in the animal kingdom food chain. A nest of crocodiles were feasting on a huge hippo carcass just close enough to the shore to tempt a pride of lions.
The lions tried their best to frighten off the crocs, but to no avail. After a few skirmishes, neither side would surrender, and the two powerful predator groups ended up ‘sharing’ lunch.
