James Covenant must have spent a good while watching all six Star Wars movies, because he was somehow able to recreate the over-played hit song with everyone’s favorite sci-fi characters singing.

This isn’t the first time Sesame Street has incorporated pop culture into their programming. They went viral a while back spoofing the television show True Blood and with a Grover spoof of the Old Spice commercial.

This time, it’s everyone’s favorite junk food monster who sings Share It Maybe about cookies in this Call Me Maybe parody.

The video has become an overnight viral success, and is already featured on TheDailyWhat, LaughingSquid, Mashable, and Gothamist.

Asking Girls Out With ‘Call Me Maybe’ Lyrics Actually Works

By now, every Internet users has had their ears force fed Carly Rae Jespen’s Call Me Maybe for a good while. So Rob from the dating Digits Show thought, ‘why not,’ and made an entire episode of asking girls for their digits with a simple line based on the chorus from Call Me Maybe.

“Hey, I just met you. And this is crazy. But can I get your number, and call you maybe?”

It works surprisingly well. Even the girls who immediately recognized the song thought it was cute. Who knew being confident, up front, and honest with women actually works? Of course, being good looking helps.
