For the latest episode of Tuned, Matt Farah of Drive had the once in a life time opportunity to drive a very special Mazda RX-7.

Nineteen year old Cobrin picked up the beat-up, dead ’84 RX-7 for just a few hundred bucks, and spent years and all the money he made delivering pizzas to rebuild the car. But not in the typical way.

He wanted a hot rod and a hot rod only, so he neglected all the cosmetics and purposefully made his car a monstrous Frankenstein. Besides for looking the part–packed with countless custom contrasting parts–he also packed in a huge, five liter, 400 HP, V-8 Mustang engine into the tiny car to truly give his Zero F**ks Given RX7 the heart of a beast.

The British car show Top Gear has been steadily growing in popularity over the years. Now, there is the not so popular American version, and even a new Korean one

For a recent segment on Top Gear Korea, Kim Jin Pyo raced a Corvette ZR1 against an AH1 Cobra helicopter “in true Top Gear style.” But after winning the race, tragedy occurred.

The helicopter suddenly crashed into the ground to the shock and horror of Kim Jin Pyo. He could only stare with his mouth open for a few moments before regaining his composure, slamming the car into park, and running towards the crash scene as alarm sirens rang.

In the debut episode of their 19th series, BBC Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson drives the world’s smallest ‘car,’ if you can even call it that. The car/motorcycle hybrid of sorts leaves the driver’s arms exposed to the elements, and maybe one of the least safe forms of motor travel. Clarkson lives life on the edge, taking the scooter car all around London, even on the freeways. Read more on Slate
