As most musical fans already know, SUPER FRUIT is made up of Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying from Pentatonix who decided to make another offshoot comedy-musical group. For their latest project, they took classic hip-hop and rap songs and gave them a gorgeous musical Broadway treatment. The results might surprise you.

The Lion King And Aladdin Broadway Casts Sing While Waiting At The Airport

Is there anything worse than being stuck at the airport waiting indefinitely for your flight when there is a weather delay? Julie L was lucky enough to have the Broadway casts from Disney’s The Lion King and Aladdin also stuck at LaGuardia Airport with her, and captured this beautiful sounding sing-off they had to pass the time.

Broadway’s Cast Of ‘Aladdin’ Honors Robin Williams Singing ‘Friend Like Me’

One of Robin Williams most notable roles was voicing the hilarious genie in Disney’s Aladdin. To pay tribute to the great entertainer who just recently passed away, the Broadway cast of Aladdin performed a special sing along of the popular tune Friend Like Me.

Lion King Broadway Cast Sings ‘Circle Of Life’ On NYC Subway

Veteran New Yorkers are used to spontaneous performances erupting while travelling on the Subway. Sadly, not all performances are that good. But one train car of commuters on the A train was lucky enough to experience a true Broadway performance. Literally. 

In honor of The Lion King becoming the first Boardway performance to generate over one billion dollars, the Broadway cast of The Lion King took a break from practicing to surprise riders on the subway. To the glee of commuters, they performed their most famous song that everyone knows, the opening number, The Circle Of Life .
