Today, enormous websites like Wikipedia and Reddit are voluntarily down to help spread the word about Internet censorship bills SOPA/PIPA, and how the two new laws would destroy the Internet as we know it. Even Google’s homepage doodle is taking a stand against the legislation. Take a stand, contact your representatives and tell them SOPA/PIPA are bad for the Internet and bad for America!

So if you ever wanted to hear the President sing Lady Gaga’s Born This Way, now is your chance. The fact that President Obama finally repealed Don’t Ask Don’t Tell makes this song a very appropriate choice.

US Immigration Accidently Deport American Teenage Girl To Columbia Who Won’t Give Her Back

It’s been a while since the US government has embarrassed themselves in a grand way, but this newest gaffe that just surfaced is a doozy. After running away from home in Dallas, an American teenage girl was arrested in Houston for theft. After giving police a fake name that matches an illegal immigrants, she was deported to Columbia even though she spoke no Spanish and is an American citizen. Navy’s First Same Sex Couple Partakes In Traditional Homecoming First Kiss After Returning To Port

The Internet is cheering the Navy for allowing two women to partake in the traditional ‘first kiss’ after returning to port in Virginia Beach. Petty Officer 2nd Class Marissa Gaeta won a raffle to have the first kiss with her significant other, and she just happens to be an open lesbian. Now that Don’t Ask Don’t Tell has been repealed many more firsts are sure to come.
