African Kids Adorably Freak Out After Seeing, Touching Hairy White Guy For First Time

Justin Wren published this video last September, but it has only gone viral now. He traveled to a remote part of Eastern Congo to volunteer and help the needy for three weeks. While there, it was the kids who were most shocked and excited to see a big, fat, hairy white dude for the first time.

Being a professional MMA fighter and UFC veteran with a heart of gold, he allowed the kids to feel his arm hair and beard. They couldn’t help but shriek and giggle and the novelty. It’s not everyday an African village child sees blonde hair and an iPhone.

Almost instantly, this video has collected over 100,000 new views over the past 24 hours.

Cute Miniature Squeaking Namaqua Rain Frog

Dean Boshoff recorded a short clip of the adorably precious Namaqua Rain Frog while at the sandy dunes along Port Nolloth in the Northern Cape province of South Africa.

The tiny rain frog produces the cutest squeak ever, reminiscent of a squeaky dog toy, that is used as a defense cry. In less than a week, the cute video has already garnered over 350,000 views just on YouTube alone.

GravityLight To Light Up The World Commercial

Adequate lighting is still a problem for over a billion people around the world. In many instances, villagers must use kerosene or even wood just for simple lighting, an expensive and unhealthy option.

Therefore Products wanted to fix this problem, and has created the GravityLight.

The inventive light requires no fuel or alternative power source. Simply pick up the weight that is attached to the small light and let it go.

As gravity pulls the bag of weight down, a small generator is turned to power the light, offering up to 30 minutes of light for literally three seconds of work. That is, picking up the weight.

Incredibly, their relatively new crowd sourcing campaign on IndieGoGo already has nearly $300,000 worth of contributions, well over their $55,000 goal.

Kelvin Doe is only fifteen years old who grew up in the poor West African country of Sierra Leone. Even though, or perhaps because, the electricity is rarely working in town, he began to learn and invent all through reverse engineering and teaching himself.

Now, he has become “the youngest person in history to be invited to the “Visiting Practitioner’s Program” at MIT.”

Thnkr TV published the human interest story just last Friday, and already the video has amassed over 90,000 views. The video is also featured on popular forums, like NeoGaf, BlackVisions, and BodyBuilding.

Rescuers Save Baby Elephant Stuck In Pit

Perhaps it’s because nearly every American watched Disney‘s animated classic Dumbo as a kid that we all seem to have a very special place in our hearts for elephants, especially baby ones.

That’s what makes this latest video from elephant research and conservation project Amboseli Trust for Elephants that has started to trend now so special.

An eight month old calf became stuck in a shallow well with his mom nearby who was becoming visibly ever more frustrated not being to save her baby.

Luckily, the the Trust got word of the issue and sent two jeeps to check out the situation. After some hard work they were successful.

There are few things cuter than seeing a baby elephant run full speed after mom. “Moooom! Wait for meee!”
