Back when cell phones were a brand new phenomenom, it was an exciting thing to see people on TV using them. It was even cooler when Zach Morris from the early 90′s kids show Saved By The Bell used a cell phone. Over time you can see how his phone keeps changing.
Back in the 1990′s, everyone thought humanity had finally stepped into the future. Things like digital microwaves, the Internet, and being gay were new and cool. Movies and television back then absolutely loved saying, “It’s the 90′s!” The 90′s were just so cool, people seemed to have to yell it out loud! The video is created by Everything Is Terrible.
Windows 95 really was a huge step for Microsoft, and gave consumers a whole new look and feel to their computing. The change was so great from the last Windows operating system, Microsoft created video tutorials to help users adapt. Who better to narrate the tutorial than a classic 90′s girl in a bikini? This video was posted in 2008, but just now became popular.
If you grew up in the 90′s, then you will remember Crossfire well. It was the quasi-boardgame where players shot small metal balls at targets to move them into the opposing goal. Of course, half the balls were lost the first night. The commercial was even more memorable than the game itself, with explosions, flashes, and its own awesome 90′s rock song. Commercials for any type of tech school are usually cheesy, but this one from the 90′s for a game design school takes the cake. They really push the idea that you just get to play video games all day and that’s what you get paid for. I feel bad for all the unsuspecting teens of the 90′s who fell for this and are now working at staples with their ‘degree’ still hanging on their bedroom walls.
