Doug Lesso was in the cockpit of a Boeing Business Jet when a serious situation unfolded. While approaching the runway for landing, a giant rain column was visible directly above the strip.

The pilots were determined to land despite the severe weather, but just as they were approaching the runway with just feet to spare, they lost all visibility

The well trained pilots calmly called a ‘go around,’ or an aborted landing, and pulled the plane back up into the sky. In fifteen minute, the rain had calmed, and they landed with no further issues.
