As the end of 2012 nears, more and more jokes, gags, and parodies are popping up online concerning the Mayan-calender-end-of-the-world nonsense. The latest to join in on the fun is Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

She teamed up with Aussie media group , and gave this mock end of the world speech. The new video already has over 300,000 views, and is featured on DailyMail, TheAustralian, and MSN

if you’re having an “end of the world” party you can get a pendant of your mayan day sign with a scroll describing your personality derived from the mayan calendar. check it out at http://www.innervoicedesigns.com/Mayan_s/39.htm

I personally thing this is disgraceful!!! She to PM and should know better. And given how many people out there that might Believe it whats going to be the out come? Remember the radio broadcast of war of the worlds in 1938?? look what happened there. She need to set down as I do not think any Leader of any country would find it amusing know they where the one who started country wide panic. This is very irresponsible of her and not very funny.
