Like so many animals in the wild, koala bears look adorable and cute, but are far from it. Generally, they are very dangerous, and should not be approached.

But while nature hiking in Victoria, Australia, Melabois had the magically opportunity to snuggle a baby koala who climbed up her leg. It was an adorably painful experience that has gone viral now after being featured on Reddit.

Koalas aren’t dangerous…where did you get that from? They sleep in trees about 20 hours a day, and eat leaves the rest of the time. Not much harm there. (Yes I’m Australian, koalas are everywhere and perfectly mild mannered.)

Where the hell is the mother…. That is a baby and would not normally be on the ground without her…. What did she do with it after it climbed up her, abandoned it… to god knows what
