It’s hard to find a kid who never lost one of their favorite toys, but helmutray‘s son was seriously crushed when they lost his blue monkey named Ah-ah.
The stuffed animal was a gift from grandma and was more than just a toy, it was his closest friend, apart of the family. So when Ah-ah was lost during a camping trip, the whole family was affected.
But with the magic of the Internet, this story has a happy ending.
Three long years later, mom was surfing ebay, and decided to search for a blue monkey stuffed animal. She found one used one and purchased the toy highly doubting that it would be Ah-ah.
Amazingly, and very unbelievably, it was Ah-ah. The reunion of monkey and boy is naturally a teary one.
