Utah State University has finally built a device that has been in the minds of inventors for years. The concept is simple enough.
The user basically wears a huge vacuum on their back with suction controls on both hands allowing them to traverse straight up a wall!
Now, Spiderman-like agility has become a reality, even if it a bit noisy. The concept, dubbed The PVAC Design, or Personal Vacuum Assisted Climber, won first place at this year’s Air Force Research Laboratory Design Challenge.
