It’s just like it sounds. A ‘little piggy’ from the classic ‘this little piggy went to the market’ song, going wee wee wee all the way home… from car pool. The mom driving looks like she’s five wee wee’s from cutting the pigs head and roasting him whole over an open fire.

I love it, it’s the funniest of their current commercials. If you want the most annoying (by far) it’s without a doubt the one with the soccer announcer talking Spanish and then yelling GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL at the top of his lungs, for what seems like an eternity.
This ad makes me want to jam knitting needles in my ear drums every time I hear it. Seems like “annoying” is the new black. I’m not amused by the Wiig-ification of almost everything on TV.
I agree with Carlos – I love this commercial with the piggy and also the other Geico commercial with the drill sargeant therapist are funny commercials and yes the one with the soccer announcer is annoying!

I happen to love this silly commercial. It may be silly to others, but every time I hear it, it makes me laugh to myself because with everything going on in the world, laughter is good medicine for me. I’m just saying.
This ad is great if you don’t laugh at this you must be a complete stick in the mud. It puts a smile on my face everytime I see it.

I like to fall asleep watching the Discovery Channel, and lately I have told my girlfriend that I wake up everyday at 4:31 in the morning. I look at the clock and it is exactly 4:31 am not 4:30 and not 4:32
I like to fall asleep watching some program like “The Universe” or “Modern Marvels” since I have seen every one of them and the repetition lets me fall asleep – mindless background noise. BUT
That irritating commercial comes on at 4:31 every morning and I didn’t realize this until I woke up and that screeching sound was playing. I really think they raise the volume for this commercial, and it wakes me up completely. I am going to write them a letter.

I LOVE the Little Pig commercial – takes me back to those wonderful times of mom playing the Little Piggy “toe game!” I came here trying to figure out what the driver was calling the pig and see from reading thru posts his name is Maxwell, which makes the commercial even better because it fits perfectly with audience the commercial is targeting!

My favorite commercial, so totally ridiculous it lights up my life each time I see it. It takes a hour and half or more each day to get home from work and during the good, traffic is moving parts I now answer the phone wee, wee, weee. Who hasn’t felt like that little pig on a Friday?

It’s a sad comment on TV programming when the commercials are so much better than the shows they interrupt.
This ad is not up to par with some of their earlier ones. It is annoying and noisy and forces us to change channels.

How can you like this commercial / think its “cute” / find it funny? This is the most annoying piece of shit commercial to ever have been broadcast. Every time it is played (nearly every commercial break during football), I call GEICO to complain. I don’t need something screaming at me from my TV!
Cute? The first few times…maybe….but the “WEE, WEE, WEE” over and over is beyond annoying….not entertaining….and would NOT entice me to want to buy this insurance at all. The Geico gekko is the best of the commercials in my opinion…..and the company should stop using anything in place of him.

I love it! The take off on the nursery rhyme and the expressions of the little boy and Mrs A. are hilarious. I’m 67 so not much amuses me anymore, but this cracks me up! ( Like the wood chucks too.)
I so totally love this commercial! Thank you Geico for making me want to play Donkey Kong 64 on my Project 64 emulator! Everytime this comes on, I decide to shut off a certain game (e.g.: Banjo-Kazooie) and turn on DK64! THANX GEICO!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really miss the piggy allot. I know that many people did not like that advert but I really do. Is the piggy ever going to come back? I sure hope so because whenever I saw the piggy I would just laugh my ass off. I hope you will at least leave it on site for those of us who love that comercial.

I have read what there what other people have said about this advert and I can’t hope but notice that the majority of the people like the piggy. So I have one question, when is it coming back? I hope it is coming back soon becase I just love it. I kow that some people have said that some things are so bad it is good. I think you could use that here. But I just love it, every time I see it I just must laugh. Anything that brings on a smile is a good thing to have around these days. So lets here it for the Piggy! There are some really bad ones, ones that thank Goddess have gone away. Not going to quantify which one for fear they will come back.

I hope that geico doesn’t think that any attention to a commercial is good attention because for as many people that like it there are at least as many people that don’t. A commercial should draw you in not make you want to turn it off. If they have so many people really that annoyed with it why wouldn’t they just stop showing it. Remember “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you”. Personally it irritates the hell out of me .

As far as wife and I are concerned, this is the best of all GEICO commercial. Whenever it comes on if one or the other is not watching TV, we immediately call the other so we can both enjoy it. We really miss not having seen it lately.

I pretty much despise that commercial, too; the sound of the pig saying, ” wee-ee-ee” is the most annoying sound on TV; guess that’s what they had in mind…gets one’s attention. ,,,then the low-key voice ” Mrs. A.” …see I remembered the dialogue, too. GEICO accomplished their mission with me.

My mother and I both love the Little Piggy and she is 90. (Of course it is impossible to underestimate the intelligence of the American public. I liked the Budweiser frogs too.)
The pig is far less paunful than the brief Geico commercial of some man in an office screaming at the top of his lungs. I immediately switched channels whenever it came on & finally wrote feedback to Geico after the third or fourth time. TV is for enjoyment, not annoyance. Haven’t seen the Screamer for a while. Hope they got smart & pulled that one, and better yet, fired the idiot ad agency that dreamed it up. Pig is sort of fun, though
Absolutely horrible. I do love to laugh and make people laugh. I do have a since of humor. But this thing is so NOT funny; it’s monotonous, and just moronic. I know people have different perspectives with their personal humor, but i cannot imagine understanding anyone who likes this. Pure junk. And like some others, I personally would go out of my way to not buy this company’s products for approving this ad. But i am sure they run the numbers, and have decided that it gets enough attention to warrant continuation of this piggy character. They just released a second one. I LOVE this pig for his ability to enjoy the simple things in life. Maxwell reminds me of myself. My first boyfriend nicknamed me E.A. for ‘Easily Amused’ because I got so enthusiastic about some of the most silly things. Maxwell has a new commercial out on which he’s coming down a zip line at breakneck speed. The guy on the line next to his is hanging on for dear life, while Maxwell has his arms outstretched with a pinwheel in each hand and he’s crying, “Wheeeee!!!”…..”Wheeeeeee!!!”, all the way down. I LOVE it!! I don’t work for Geico or any other insurance company and I doubt those annoyed by the pig’s commercials work for a competitor. The truth is, Geico’s commercial writers are brilliant!! Think about it….You either LOVE the commercials or you HATE them, but you always remember WHO put them out, don’t you? That’s the whole point! They got ya whether you intend to be gotten or not! LOL. Those of you who are so irritated by the pig have too much stress in your lives. Learn to slow down, take yourself less seriously and enjoy the simpler things in life. Laughter is an amazing stress-reliever. It works for anxiety too! So take a breather. Remember what it was like to be a kid. Allow yourself to embrace the silliness and to laugh at the inane things, because there is way too much tension in the present world and we ALL can use the laughter.

This is the worst commercial series I have ever seen. The only thing on TV worse than the pig squeal is the alarm that follows, “This is a test, this is only a test …” I do not for a moment believe the comments on this blog. I am certain they were all left by nervous members of the advertising team who came up with this awful, insulting concept. I turn the channel as soon as I see the thing, and all my friends all do, too. Not so great if you are trying to sell a product or promote a show. It is an insult to us all.
The Geico Ad men really are genious…so much so that I ran right back to State Farm to renew my policy. The only thing worse and more repulsive than the “pigs” at Geico is that obnoxious plastic sleaze bag that does the Progressive Ins. ads.
Very interesting on how the last 10 or 11 comments have been negative all of the sudden, after half or most were loving this SPIKE THROUGH MY BRAIN of a commercial at the beginning of this blog – maybe their last check finally cleared. I worked for a company that had our people plant positive comments on blogs. I hope that’s the case here and not that there are that many folks in the general population who actually like this F-ing swill. Also, I am actually shopping for new car & home insurance. You’re right, TJ. Those are indeed Geico employees leaving positive feedback. The pig, itself, boils down to lazy advertising. Shreaking voice and nonstop airplay is a low-brow approach to advertising. I feel REALLY bad for the companies whose commercials have to follow this pig. By then the TVs have all been muted or channels have been changed. I would be LIVID!
